ALL YOU CAN HATE - I Don't Care

“‘I Don’t Care’ has a dreamy vibe with lots of nice reverb and atmosphere."

It’s not every day that we get to find a new band from Italy. One of the positives of streaming platforms is that they will sometimes recommend a new artist to you, and it instantly grabs your attention. This is what the song ‘I Don’t Care’ by All You Can Hate did. The song has a hook that catches you in an instant. The production, mixing, vibe, and writing are right up the Critical Zero alley, with a California-inspired sound that reminds us of bands we love, like The Red Pears, Floats, and Makeout Reef.

‘I Don’t Care’ has a dreamy vibe with lots of nice reverb and atmosphere. The chorus immediately brings the energy up but doesn’t take you out of the cruising zone. It’s something you’ve got to hear, and we wish more songs did.

The performances in the song are outstanding. The bass and the drums are smooth, and when you zone in on them, you realize they’re a lot more complex than they seem. The guitar and vocals give a nice lead tone and are also doing their thing. This sort of production is very hard to achieve without making it sound too polished, but this song nails it.

This song is part of the EP ‘Nothing Lasts Forever,’ which is excellent and something you need to check out.
