Critical Zero

Living in Toronto, we’re privileged to have access to so many amazing events every weekend—this time, we checked out Shiv and The Carvers' release show at The Baby G.

We had never seen Shiv and The Carvers perform before, but we had seen footage of their intense set. We were not going to miss this, as it was a very special night. We made it just in time to catch the band, and we were greeted by a packed room with many familiar faces.

The band kicked off their set with their new EP, Tell Me You Love Me Again, in full energy, with the crowd immediately dancing, moshing, and singing back the lyrics dipped in deep red lights.

Everything about this show was amazing—from the outfits, the music, and the songs to the on-stage attitude. Shiv and The Carvers have such a strong stage presence; it feels raw and genuine. They are having the greatest time on stage, and you can see it.
