Become Nothing is finally here, and we’re so excited to be spotlighting one of our favourite songs on the record titled "Climb by Burner. The song is dark, eerie, and very powerful. You can really feel the emotion in the vocal performance and the instruments; the song is mixed exactly how a song in this style should be. The guitar tones are fuzzed out and also clean, the drums are roomy and punchy, and the bass steers the chaos-filled ship. "Climb" has that feeling we love in a song that is always on the verge of explosion, a garage, and DIY sound that is nailed in the production. In fact, the entire album is like this, full of gems and songs for every mood. Burner has been one of our favourite bands we’ve discovered this year from Toronto —do yourself a favour and listen to the entire album front to back; you will not regret it. The record is released by Brantford-based label zBTFD and is available for purchase on vinyl (!!!), CD, and cassette.
