L.A. Witch - The Lines

" Grit, rawness, and attitude."

L.A. WITCH is a band that has been on our radar for a few years now, and we’re stoked to be spotlighting their latest release, The Lines.

The Lines has grit, rawness, and attitude - something we love about California bands. The song has a great and wide atmosphere that sounds especially amazing when listening with headphones. You can hear every instrument in its place, and the layering is magical - it feels like the band is playing live in front of you.

The bass growls and drives alongside the drums, the guitars have a really nice delay effect, and the vocals are dreamy with reverb. Our favourite synth sound also makes an appearance, adding to the layering. You can tell the production and engineering are of high quality; it maintains a raw sound while keeping every instrument clearly placed in the mix. The song was released under Suicide Squeeze Records in Seattle that also has some incredible artists on their roster.

L.A. WITCH is playing in Toronto on May 3rd at Longboat Hall - this is a can’t-miss show and your chance to catch this incredible band live.
