HAUNTING is Ruby Doom’s latest single, and it is one of our favourite releases of the summer. Haunting is Ruby Doom like we’ve never heard before - a shoegaze fuzzed-out trip. The single boasts incredible dynamics, featuring spacey vocals, overdriven guitars, tight bass, and punchy drums. The entire song fits the title; it is haunting in the best way.
We love a song that is well-layered and mixed but isn’t overproduced. HAUNTING has a raw, genuine energy that sounds almost like you’re listening to the band live in your living room. To top it all off, the song ends with a spacey and distorted guitar solo. You have to check this song out, seriously. Their full debut album, titled FROM VENUS, drops on September 20th, and we are very excited for it!
